Dear friends, as I was involved in the creation of this CD I must admit that my prayers were answered as I sought the Lord to put me in the shoes of these precious people. A vast array of emotions overwhelmed me from deep hate to deep love. As I pursued the Lord for answers to help some of these bitter victims of circumstance, He led me to share this with those veterans that will listen....

From Rebecca Brown, MD's book - Unbroken Curses

As we were teaching these principles of breaking curses during a seminar recently, some of the audience members brought up another interesting situation in which the source of destructive curses that were placed on people was completely outside of their control. These folks were Christian Vietnam veterans. They drew to my attention the statistics that since the end of the Vietnam war, more veterans have commited suicide than all the soldiers killed in action. The Vietnam war was peculiar in that almost all of the veterans returned home with a strong inclination toward self-destruction. Why?

These Christian veterans told me that as every plane landed on the air strips in Vietnam bringing more troops to the war, groups of Buddhist monks stood at the end of the runways performing incantations to place curses of destruction on each arriving soldier. Since that meeting, I have talked to a number of other Vietnam veterans. Each of these remembering seeing these monks. The gruesome statistics give testimony to the power of those curses.

Are you a Vietnam veteran? If so, then you need to break all the curses of destruction off your life that were placed by those monks. You need to assert your authority in Christ and command all of those demons associated with the curse to flee from your life forever in the name of Jesus. Alert your veteran friends that they need to do the same.

Old Vets Playing Music that captures the Nam Experience

I have listened to the music CD “It’s Just A Nam Thing” off and on for a couple of years and it is just as edgy and poetic today as it was the first time I listen to those tracks. The words which are printed inside the cover—are pure poetry. Songs such as “Just An Old Viet Vet” grab you not only with the words but with the tune itself.

There is a haunting harmonica that can be heard in the background on some songs that combines with the rhythm of acoustic and electric guitars and the energized pounding of Tab Warwick’s drums that gives this group a signature style. There is a rock piece called “My Sixties” that I particularly enjoyed. Meaningful lyrics with a music score that keeps you emotionally hooked on the message of the song.

This music CD is as moving as it is entertaining. It is message filled at times with songs like “The Corps” but when you hear it you will not mind. This is good edgy rock and roll with a little country blues and folk music thrown in—at times, it sounds almost southern in a very good way. I enjoyed it and recommend it highly. I am awe struck at the range of emotions that the songs covered with the different type of song styles you used...Rock and Roll, Sixties type music, and the last song M-Day3 just brought me to my knees. I really liked "The Corps", "Its Just a Nam Thing", "The Boys From 1/27" .....The background sounds were AWESOME !

I recently received my copy of the "Its Just a Nam Thing" CD and haven't been able to take it off of my player. I am a great fan of SEA music, have a collection of songs by the great singer/songwriters, Dick Jones, "Bull" Durham, etc. In my opinion " Its Just a Nam Thing" rates right up there with the best that I've heard. I recommend it to warriors of all services. If you've been there, done that, there is something for you here

Lost my socks in Vietnam... found them on this CD

I'm back in Nam just about every moment since 1969 - never had much of a choice. This CD has brought me closer to home than I've been for a long time. I once wrote - listen to the drums, and remember the drummers. This CD is the drum... and Dane is, without doubt, one of the drummers!
